Application
IEC 60068-2-75 provides three international standardized test methods for determining the ability of a specimen to withstand rigorous and stringent impacts and is used primarily to establish an acceptable level of robustness when assessing the safety of a product.
PHS-01 Pendulum Hammer Striking Tester is the pendulum hammer method that has an auto lifting pendulum hammer that can be automatically released at different impact heights. It is used for determination of the ability of a sample to withstand specific severities of impact.
System Description
PHS-01 has a steady structure and is mainly composed of control box, pendulum lifting and releasing unit, and sample clamping unit.
Technical Features
It’s a PLC controlled unit (industrial level stable) and HMI touch screen operated. Synchronized belt driven pendulum lifting and magnetic pendulum releasing design. By simply clicking the impact energy on screen, the system will automatically lift the hammer to the corresponding height. Then when test start, the pendulum automatically releases from the latch and impact the sample.
Sample mounting fixture is strictly standard conformed and it can be adjusted with plywood thickness and can be turned about as well, to keep sample perpendicular to impact hammer direction.
